Self-drive
Self-drive may suit you if you want to manage your own daily movements. The proposed arrangement must confirm driver eligibility and documentation, permitted use, insurance conditions and any geographic restrictions. Do not assume that every vehicle can be used on every road or taken across a border.
Chauffeur-driven
A chauffeur-driven arrangement may suit a business schedule, a family stay or travellers who prefer someone else to handle the driving. The quotation defines the driver arrangement, agreed hours and duties, and the treatment of longer days or overnight travel.

Match the vehicle to its actual use
Passenger capacity alone is not enough. We also need to consider luggage, regular travel distances, access needs and the roads on your proposed route. Request a category suited to the work it must do rather than relying on a photograph or an assumed model.
The category and exact vehicle are subject to quotation and availability. A general hire vehicle is not automatically suitable or authorised for a safari, rough-road use or park entry. Compare the complete arrangement
The useful comparison is the full service for your planned use, rather than a headline daily or monthly figure. Before committing, check how the quotation treats:
- Hire dates, collection and return times, and any extension request.
- Mileage or usage limits and journeys outside the agreed area.
- Fuel and responsibility for refuelling.
- Driver hours, allowances and overnight arrangements where applicable.
- Insurance, excess or deposit requirements and permitted drivers.
- Maintenance arrangements, breakdown assistance and the process if a replacement is needed.
- Delivery, collection and any additional charges.
These details depend on the quoted arrangement. No particular inclusion or unlimited-use entitlement should be assumed.
Delivery, collection and changing plans
Tell us whether you would prefer collection at your Nairobi base, an airport or another location. We will check what is possible and identify the agreed handover arrangements and any charge.

Yes. Both can be arranged, subject to the available vehicle and confirmed hire conditions. Select your preference when enquiring, or ask for help deciding.
Can I request a vehicle for several weeks or a month?
Yes. Give us the intended dates and expected use. Duration, availability and the full quoted conditions determine the arrangement; no standard monthly rate is assumed.
Can a vehicle be delivered to my accommodation or workplace?
Delivery and collection can be requested. The available locations, timing and any charges are confirmed with the hire arrangement.
Are fuel and a driver included in the price?
Only where stated. Self-drive and chauffeur-driven arrangements have different components, and the quotation should identify fuel, driver hours, allowances and other relevant charges.
Can I use the vehicle for a safari or travel across a border?
Tell us before booking. The proposed vehicle, permitted use, insurance and geographic conditions must specifically allow the journey. General hire does not automatically include those permissions or park access.
What if I need to extend the hire?
Request the extension as soon as your plans change. Availability, the vehicle and the rate need to be reconfirmed rather than assumed to continue unchanged.
What information is needed for self-drive?
Begin with your dates, route, preferred category and passenger needs. The quotation process will identify the applicable driving-licence, eligibility, insurance and deposit requirements. No document scans are needed for the initial service enquiry.
