A safari route combines more than the drive into a park. Read the road sectors, scheduled flights, airport handovers and arrival windows together to understand how each day works.
Private safari vehicles
A road itinerary may use one private vehicle and driver-guide for the safari sectors. Other journeys use exclusive resident vehicles and different guides at each wildlife base. Private ground arrangements do not mean a private park, road or lodge.
Scheduled safari flights
Scheduled aircraft may carry other passengers and make additional stops or use a connection. They are not private charter flights. Luggage and check-in instructions are controlled by the ticketed service and should be checked before travel.
Airport and airstrip handovers
International airports, domestic airports and safari airstrips are not interchangeable. Nairobi journeys may require a road transfer between JKIA and Wilson. A coast arrival through Ukunda and a departure through Mombasa also need distinct transfer arrangements.
Realistic movement days

Ground privacy continues across regions
Where a journey changes regional guides, the wider plan still needs clear handovers. Check where your vehicle is available and where it is not retained, including during a coast stay.
