Choosing your safari accommodation.
Consider the location and daily experience alongside the accommodation standard. The room, meal basis and access arrangements all help determine whether a stay fits your journey.
ACCOMMODATION: start with the setting
A safari base inside a reserve, at its edge or in a conservancy can lead to different access arrangements and driving time. A coast stay also needs a clear location and transfer plan. Read the location description alongside the itinerary rather than choosing on the room alone.
Rooms for the people travelling
Tell us about twin or double beds, the number of rooms and any family or accessibility requirements. Specific room categories, occupancy and bed configurations are confirmed in the dated quotation; a particular family suite or adjoining room is not assumed.
Know the meal basis
Check the meals stated for each day, including arrival and departure. A room standard does not by itself tell you whether lunch, dinner, drinks or an optional dining experience is included.
What the package description means
Public package Pages describe the agreed accommodation standard and location. The dated quotation identifies the actual proposed or confirmed property, room category, occupancy and meal basis.
