No, there is no fee for our vacation planning services as the travel vendors involved recognize our value and compensate us from the gross amount paid (what you would have paid even without our assistance). For those complicated international itineraries that require custom crafting and significant involvement of our international on-location partners, we do request an intent-to-travel deposit to begin the process. This deposit is applied to the reservations that are made on your behalf.

Call us right away. If it’s after normal business hours, please contact the next involved travel supplier (airline, hotel, tour operator, cruise line) to cancel any reservations you will not be able to use. If you purchased travel insurance, please contact the insurance company’s 24-hour line to start the cancellation process and ensure your maximum refund.

Magical Exploits is extremely cautious when it comes to choosing our business partners and vendors. This vetting of travel suppliers and support of the “good ones” over the past years has given us preferred access to the world’s most trusted suppliers. In turn, they trust us to represent and care for the reputations they have earned over the years and to deliver the same high standard of care to our mutual clients.

As the trusted travel management provider, we are dedicated to delivering top-level service every time. We choose to work only with known, reliable providers in order to maintain a high standard of quality service.

Once you have submitted your enquiry/booking request, we will send you a tailored quote. If you indicate to us that you would like to make a firm booking, we will then send you a written confirmation of your booking. In the case of long-term bookings, we will remain in regular contact with you in order to provide you with notice of deadlines and check current booking levels. Once the free cancellation period has elapsed, your booking status will be amended accordingly. Your travel documents include final details of your tour and will arrive with you in good time before the start of your tour. Where required, we are happy to greet you or your guests personally upon arrival.

After your booking, you will get a confirmation. Generally, payment of 50% of the tour price is due 4 weeks before the tour commences. This allows travel documents to be sent to you in good time prior to the start of the tour. The final payment is due two weeks after the tour concludes. Any costs or credits which arise out of the amendment of the number of people traveling, the program of events, or the tour timeframe will either be settled along with the final payment or invoiced separately. 
You can pay by M-Pesa, bank transfer, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), or crossed cheque. Transfer fees are to be paid by the customer.

Trip & Flight

Yes, we give amazing discounts for group travelers. 

Medical and general vaccination requirements differ between nations, and as we are not medical practitioners, we unfortunately cannot advise on this issue. Please see your local GP or travel doctor for details and advice about current vaccination requirements.

Yes, it is included when you arrive at each destination because your security is important to us. This way, we can ensure your total comfort and serenity, especially because you are arriving in a foreign country.

Definitely. For this purpose, simply write down the name of your preferred airline in the additional details box of Flight Itinerary while placing the order. 

Sometimes, there are no seats available on the preferred airline. In that scenario, our team will pick the next available airline to make the reservation for you. For any further information or queries, you can connect with us through our 24/7 live chat.

Absolutely yes, as this is what our services entail. You can acquire a verifiable flight itinerary by paying a trivial sum of money when compared with the price of the actual flight ticket.

No, we strongly recommend you not buy an actual airline ticket. Because if your visa application is denied, you will lose your money. Simply get a flight itinerary and, once your visa application is approved, you can purchase an actual flight ticket.

Hotel and Accommodation

The change of reservation can, by all means, influence the price.

Check-in times can vary from hotel to hotel and region to region. Generally, they are between midday and 2 pm. If you do arrive earlier, you’ll be able to store your luggage at the hotel and head out to explore for a couple of hours.

As in other services we provide, we will do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements. However, it can be very difficult to guarantee in some places. We will let you know if there are places on your itinerary where this is the case. We recommend letting us know at the time of booking of any food requirements or allergies and we’ll pass the information onto our team.

If you need to add days to your stay, just make a new request or reservation for the additional days. 

If you need to change dates, you will first have to cancel your existing reservation and make a new one with your new dates. You will have to pay a reservation fee for each confirmed reservation.

Reservations only cover the cost of the hotel room and meals if mentioned. Any optional services (restaurant, minibar, spa treatments, etc.) must be settled directly by you upon check-out. The hotel can request a credit card or similar reasonable guarantee from you at check-in to cover such charges. Depending on the destination, you may be asked by the hotel to pay for any mandatory city and tourism taxes.

If you wish to have a specific room, let us know your preference at the time of booking. Although we cannot promise that you will have this room, we will do our best to comply with your request depending on availability at the time of your stay.

Tour Package

No, unutilised services are non-refundable. We encourage you to enjoy all the services included in the tour package.

Magical offers a wide range of family adventures around the globe. The minimum age (for family trips) varies depending on destination, and we have set minimum ages to ensure that the included activities suit each age range. Additionally, you’ll notice that some of the more adventurous destinations have a higher minimum age.

We keep our group sizes modest because we believe that good things come in small packages. This implies that we are small enough to maneuver through villages without frightening the residents. Although our group sizes are typically 10 individuals, you will be part of an intimate group of 12–16 people on the majority of our excursions. We travel overland in specially designed vans that can accommodate up to 24 passengers.

Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or so earlier. If you let us know before travel that you’ll be arriving late or need to leave before the trip ends, we will notify our team on the ground to best accommodate your requirements.

We always recommend packing as light as possible, but the specific requirements for your tour will vary widely depending on where and when you are traveling. Our ‘Trip Details’ document includes a suggested packing list, and these can be downloaded from each individual trip summary page. The checklist is tour specific and based upon the experience of our ground staff.

All our excursions are run in the languages which are most in demand, which are English, German and Spanish.
